It was especially special to reconnect with old friends from the neighborhood and to feel like kids again back in the craft room with our elders who once taught us how to create with our hands and hearts. We had the honor of serving over 75 families, placing turkeys into hands and hope into homes. Knowing that these meals will help make someone’s holiday feel a little warmer, a little fuller, and a little more joyful truly fills our hearts.
