YOUTH PROGRAMS

Globeville Youth Day

Annual Summer Celebration

This is annually and consists of giving out free swim shoes, opening the swimming pool for a free swim day for the community, free food, and engaging in sporting activities and games with chances to win prizes.

Youth Sports

Teams in Development

Youth Sports teams are currently in the making to provide structured athletic opportunities.

Toys for Kids

Annual Christmas Toy Drive

We have an annual toy drive for the kids in the community for Christmas.

Cuts for Kids

Free Professional Haircuts

We have seasonal events that we team up with a local Barbershop who has been a longtime resident of Globeville (Eddie Diaz from Barba) and Garden Place Academy (local elementary school) to give free haircuts to the kids in the neighborhood.

Holiday Crafting

Year-Round Creative Activities

For every holiday we like to invite community members to learn how to make different craft projects.

HOUSING SUPPORT

Home Improvement and Efficiency Program

Keeping Families in Their Homes

This program allows us to determine safety concerns and poor living conditions for residents so we may repair those specific concerns for the residents at no cost. We want the residents to be able to sustain the rapid development and improve the efficiency of the homes to allow residents to sustain and be able to stay in their homes and not be forced to relocate and sell their homes.

Creating a Cleaner Globeville

Volunteers and staff come together to clean up the streets and alleys of Globeville as well doing residential yard clean ups.
